Andrus Matteson to Uriah Matteson

Know all men by these present that I Andrus Matteson of West Greenwich in the County of Kent and the
State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation yeoman for and in consideration of Three Hundred
Dollars well and truly paid me by Uriah Matteson of the same town and county as above said yeoman
before the ensealing Hear of, the receipt I do hereby acknowledge do give grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Uriah Matteson his heirs and assigns forever one certain lot or tract of land situate lying
and being in West Greenwich aforesaid and is by estimation about twenty acres by the same more or
less and is butted and bounded as follows joins/beginning by the Northwest corner of said lot by
Thomas Matteson corner running Southerly until it comes to a brook that runs into the great river so
called then Easterly as the brook runs until it comes to the improved land then a straight line to the
great river then Northerly as the great river runs until it comes to Thomas Matteson’s land then
Westerly as said Thomas line runs to the first mentioned bounds Northerly on land of the said Thomas
Matteson southerly and westerly on land of Uriah Matteson easterly on the great river to have and to
hold the same together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said
Uriah Matteson Matteson his heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand
and seal this tenth day of May AD 1813
